Flying High

I've been trying to do something this week that I don't do often enough: look at the big picture. Recently I have allowed myself to get bogged down on the details of church and ministry. And something inevitably happens when I do that…I get frustrated. So this week, I decided to fly at 30,000 feet and look down.

When you're on the ground, you see the tree. When you're flying high, you see the forest. When I'm flying at 30,000 feet and look down at our church's ministry, things look a lot different. And the view is awesome! We're in an incredible season of blessing in our church family. We just have to make sure that we keep seeking God, working hard, casting vision, and dreaming big. As Charles Stanley says, "When the church gets off mission, God gets uninterested."

Taking a flight over our ministry this week has convinced of one thing: God is really interested in ACC!
