I want to wish my wife, Nicki, a happy birthday. This is one of those "milestone" birthdays, but I'm smart enough to know that I shouldn't tell you exactly which milestone it is. What kind of husband would I be if I told you that my sweet wife is turning 30 today? And I would never rub it in that I'm still 29. It wouldn't be very nice of me to point out that my wife is now in her 30's and I'm still in my 20's. So, because I love my wife and because I'm such a good guy, I won't tell you any of that. :o)

And I am sure she is not the kind of wife that will tell you that you'll never look as good in your thirties as she does :) Tell her I said happy birthday!

My wife will be going through the same passage from one decade to the next here shortly. I though will still be sitting on the same side as you! Happy-birthday Nikki!

Unfortunately, when I get to this point, my wife will have several years to go until she hits it, which will mean she will have plenty of time to make fun of me (as you know, she's started already), so I'd better just keep my thoughts to myself. :)
Stephen: It's an even smaller world. Joel's my little brother.
