Sad but true... we are so blessed and yet we take so much for granted.

Thanks for posting this!! :) I enjoyed watching it. Isn't it amazing how you can tell people anything, as long as you make them laugh?

I don't want to sound like a broken record but I felt that "something special going on " the first Sunday I walked into this church as a complete
stranger. I didn't know anyone.......and I came by myself not knowing what to expect. The door had not even closed behind me when I was greeted with the warmest welcome I have ever received from any stranger. I was immediately made to feel as though I belonged here.
There was no stranger in a strange land here.....not even for a second.
And after only 15 minutes of the sermon I knew I had found the church I had been searching for. The message Mike was preaching and the way it was presented had me......with no turning back. I sifted through alot of churches before ACC. The sermons..the messages.....the presentation.....
the warmth... compassion... and love in this church is genuine....it is real...
the people are real. GOD is everywhere in this church....everywhere.
But what really was the deciding factor for me to join this church was................................
The pack of Juicy Fruit Chewing gum that was in my welcome folder.

And it's best on vinyl. Just ask Phil. :)

Totally dig TSO... they are probably my favorite when it comes to Christmas music. Last year for our youth Talent Show on New Year's, we had a young man that rocked it out on an electric violin TSO style. It was too cool.. he ended up winning the show.

I painfully remember an 8-Track tape lying around when I grew up. It was ABBA. For the record, wasn't the band Stix? Just an observation in good humor though, Joel.

I agree, vocals are way too distracting when I'm trying to write. I would have figured you were rocking out to some old school ABBA or Sticks or something like that! Ha ha ha ha.

I listened to my collection of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Yeah, I know it's not Christmas yet. But their stuff is so good, I usually start listening after Halloween.

After that got old, I surfed around some different internet radio stations.

I have found that, whatever I listen to, it has to be instrumental. Vocals are too distracting. That's why I usually do the piano stuff. But for this week's message prep, I was rocking out!
