I am sorry to hear that little Brock had to be taken to the emergency room. I have to say that I do truly miss Childrens Hospital...fortunately, we never had to utilize their facility with Ally, a tremendous amount during our 8 years in Cincy...but it was always comforting to know Childrens was an option.

As you know, the power of prayer is soooo impactful...you can certainly count on my prayers!! I am hitting my knees right now!!

Please keep me posted.

Mike, please let me know when you and Brian are heading south to the unleash conference. If you are anywhere near Charlotte, maybe we can have lunch. Would love to see you guys.

I am so sorry to read this news. How tragic that a time that would normally be full of joy and expectation has turned to one of mourning for this church family.

My heart goes out to the Shryock family. I can't even comprehend what they are going through with this loss.

I couldn't stop crying...from the first service, into Sunday school, then again in the second service. This message was especially powerful, and so amazing! I ached for the hurt that probably so many people feel or have felt in their lives with relation to this message. I was sad and lifted up at the same time. Brian created a beautiful video and did a wonderful job.
On another note...OUR WORSHIP BAND IS THE GREATEST EVER!!! You guys ROCK! (not to mention the best drummer...ever!- perhaps I'm biased?) I agree with Mike, everyone played so awesome!
I'm grateful for coming into this church family and I appreciate the warm welcome everytime I come in the door.

Mike as I stated this morning. The church was so full of God today. You were so alive with all the passion in your heart. The message was so sincere and powerful. The ACC family was a true family today. All the folks at ACC feel like a part of my family. The Hot Chocolate and cookies and the folks who provided them are such givers of themselves and they always make us feel a part of this wonderful family of God. I feel so blessed to be a part of this church and the movement forward to spread Gods word. The band always outdoes themseves. But today for me the song Josh sang was the most beautiful song I have heard in a while. That song really stirred me and made me really listen to the words, beautiful is all I can say. The entire morning done by the entire team was truly a gift from God for this most wonderful and powerful day. Excellent job all who took part in the preperation. And Brian, my man, you are a genuis with a God given talent for getting some great points across. I applaude you for doing Gods work in such a powerful way.
God Bless and have a relaxing vacation, See you when you get back.
Have I told you lately how much I love having ACC as part of my family, God as my Father and Mike as my beacon in a dark world. Merry Christmas and for the first time Christ will be on my mind instead of how much I have spent on this person. What a release of tension. Thank you for a month of Vintage Love.

No, Mark doesn't at all strike me as strictly a "numbers guy." But at the same time, I understand how numbers can affect your mentality.

As a pastor, you believe in your church so much that you think everyone should be a part of it. When so few respond, I think it can have a natural negative effect on a leader. Not because he's focused on "numbers," but because he's focused on the people around him who need to come and experience Jesus.

That's my take, anyway.

That was inspiring and motivational- but I can't help but focus on the part where he was depressed about attendance during worship. That makes him come across a little shallow- as if somehow God can only be worshiped in larger numbers. Hopefully that wasn't his outlook in the beginning.
