I'm Proud
May/097
This post is personal. Read on if you want. If you don't, it doesn't matter to me. I'm saying this to whoever will listen.
I am immensely…
completely…
absolutely…
unequivocally…
wholeheartedly…
proud of my wife.
Last night Nicki turned in her grad thesis, took her last final, and now…SHE IS FINISHED!!! Her master's degree coursework is officially completed.
I am in awe of my wife. She is Superwoman. She has been plugging away at grad school for a long time, along with being a working mom and wife. And she does it seamlessly. (BTW…we don't have her final grades yet, but it's very likely that she'll complete grad school with a perfect 4.0 GPA.) It blows my mind. I couldn't be prouder of her.
We're enjoying the moment right now. No more school. No more studying. No more papers.
Life is good.

Man. That's awesome. You guys should crank up "school's out" by Alice Cooper and have a party! "School's out for the summer….School's out forever."

I graduated with a 4.0 as well…just had to add together my GPA from my Freshman through Senior year :).
Major congrats to Nicki…can't even begin to think how difficult obtaining a Masters Degree must be…heck 3rd grade math is kicking my butt, here in N.C.

I like Joel's idea…and then you can eat pizza and ice cream and giggle like little girls…okay, maybe that's a little wierd.
Nicki..soooo proud of you. You are my hero! I honestly don't know how you juggled it all…and with a possible 4.0?! Are you kidding me!?
Mike, I hope you enjoy having your woman back! LIVE IT UP!
much love,
erica

Thanks for all of the kind words from everyone. Truth be told I would not have been able to finish my program without such a supportive family. The diploma should also include Mike's name because it would not have been possible without his support. I love you!
