Got a very special treat for you, ACC. Joel Young is coming back to bring the Word again this weekend. Joel is the pastor of Horizon Christian Church. He is one of the most talented young communicators that I know.
It is not healthy for any church to only hear the Word from one person. One of our goals in 2010 is to mix it up more. Different voices offer different perspectives. The more voices that speak truth into our lives, the more the Word will come alive in us.
This Sunday is going to rock your socks off. You don't want to miss it!

Hi Mike,
I'm a member of GCC, and I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your sermon on Sunday, but I did not get an opportunity to talk with you before you left Sunday afternoon. I have been a follower of your blog for quite some time and enjoy it as well. I have long wanted to listen to one of your sermons because of what I read on your blog, but in doing so I would have to miss services at my church — and I really don't want to do that (no offense!!). This past Sunday I had the best of both worlds: listening to you preach at my church! Thank you for your time and effort you put into your ministry and being willing to preach for us (and Scott and Sharon) on Sunday.
