Disclaimer
For the sake of integrity and honesty, there are a few things I want to toss out for people who visit my blog.
1. This blog bears my name and all content on the blog is mine (unless otherwise noted). As a Christian, I want to “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5) It’s my desire that my every thought is Scriptural and pleasing to God, but I am human and I do make mistakes. Don’t believe something just because I wrote it. Check it out with Scripture. If my thought jives with what the Bible says, then you can believe it.
2. My blog postings don’t necessarily represent the views of the Amelia Church of Christ. I know, that one is wierd considering that I am the preaching minister for ACC. But understand that ACC is much bigger than me. As I said above, my goal is to make sure my words and thoughts are solidly Biblical. But the Bible also gives much latitude for varying opinions on certain issues. When I’m in the realm of opinion, my thoughts may or may not match up with everyone at ACC.
3. I screen all comments before they are posted. This is to avoid any offensive content. However, disagreeing with someone’s comment will not preclude me from posting it. I want this blog to be an open forum as I believe that God works through frank, honest discussion.
4. I am accountable for the content of this blog. I am accountable to God, to my wife and family, and to the eldership of my church for what is posted here.
5. I am not responsible for the content of the links that take you away from my blog. I only link to sites that I believe are quality and of the highest standards, but crazy things happen on the internet sometimes.
6. If you don’t enjoy reading my blog, we can still be friends. I have plenty of friends who have poor taste!
